As my brother got on the plane back to Switzerland, things slowly returned to semi-normal.
Monday 28 Sept: A BIG, no, HUGE! day for BLANKbottle! The official launch of 2 new BLANKbottle wines in 28 Woolworths stores countrywide. Click here to read my official press release. My family and I went to the Somerset Mall Woolworths to take pictures and have lunch at the coffee shop to celebrating the big day. The rest of the week I was swamped with e-mails after telling my clients about BLANKbottle’s new venture. I was totally taken aback by the amount of feedback. Rest of the week: Since my brother Wilhelm started helping me here at BLANKbottle, we’ve been looking at Facebook as a tool to communicate to even more clients. Initially I didn’t like it much but he insisted that we give it a go. He moved our group over to a “Fan Page” and reloaded everything. Let’s watch this space. I think we are on to 120 fans now.
Friday 2 October: We ended the week off with the customary braai at the office. The idea is to have a quick braai from 12 – 2pm, and then still get in a few work hours before the week officially ends. The few more work hours didn’t happen today..
